His first band, Steeler, kicked off a career in Europe during the early part of the '80s, issuing three albums (1984's Steeler, 1985's Rulin' the Earth, 1986's Strike Back) prior to 1987's Undercover Animal, which signaled the beginning of 's solo career. This professional jaunt allowed to fully expose his riveting playing power and collaborations between he and other musicians. Later albums such as Black Moon Pyramid (1996) and The Masquerade Ball (2000), Kings and Queens (2004), Diamonds Unlocked (2007), The Crest (2010), and Into the Storm (2015), were exquisitely mastered, churning similar sounds of and with a slew of talented vocalists, including Huhn, and Johnny Gioeli. Early 2017 saw the release of the single 'Love's Holding On,' which featured guest vocalist. The Ballads V, the fifth volume of his popular ballad compilation series, arrived later that year.
